Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr Secretly Marry!

That was fast. Just a month after their engagement was confirmed, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have gotten married.
The model, 27, and the British actor, 33, are now on their honeymoon, Kerr reveals in a statement explaining why she's canceling an appearance at the Australian department store David Jones.
"David Jones very graciously released me during this period so we could celebrate an intimate ceremony and honeymoon together," Kerr says in the statement. "I'm very much a part of the David Jones Family and I am very committed to my role. I am enormously grateful to David Jones to have been given this time to enjoy such a special moment in my life."

Miranda Kerr's hometown of Gunnedah bids to host wedding to Orlando Bloom

MIRANDA Kerr can tick music and a hire car off the wedding plan list, with her home town of Gunnedah offering its award-winning brass band and a street parade.
Her engagement to Orlando Bloom, after a three-year courtship, has sparked speculation the good-looking pair will wed in the country NSW town where she grew up, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Gunnedah Mayor Adam Marshall has offered a street parade in the couple's honour with its award-winning brass band leading the way.
"The town would love to host a good old country wedding to celebrate a local girl made good. There is no better place to hold it," he said.
Her grandmother Ann Kerr, known to everyone in town as Nan, confirmed the engagement yesterday, and said her phone had been running hot.

Orlando Bloom and lingerie model Miranda Kerr announce engagement

The pair met backstage at a lingerie catwalk show in New York in 2006 and began dating in late 2007.
After weeks of speculation over a proposal, Bloom's publicist confirmed that the couple had decided to tie the knot.
"They are engaged," he told Entertainment Tonight.
Kerr's publicist told People magazine that both families were excited about the prospect of a wedding.
"The entire Kerr family is thrilled with the news," Carlii Lyon said.
"It is a very exciting time for both of them."
Kerr, 27, and Bloom, 33, have remained tightlipped about their three-year relationship in the past.
In 2008 Kerr told People magazine that the Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean star was "a sweetheart and that's all I'm gonna say".
The pair were believed to have broken up briefly in 2008, but reconciled after Bloom flew to Sydney to meet Kerr's parents.
Last month, the pair fuelled engagement rumours after they were seen visiting a series of jewellery shops in Paris, France, spending hours inside before emerging hand-in-hand and grinning.
Now one of the 10 highest paid model in the world, Kerr is also pursuing a career in acting.

The 27-year-old Victoria’s Secret model came out to support her boyfriend, British actor Orlando Bloom, who spoke earlier in the day at Rockefeller University about his own experiences with dyslexia.

Miranda Kerr secures coveted modelling deal with Prada and Jil Sander

VICTORIA'S Secret angel Miranda Kerr has secured two of the most coveted advertising campaigns in the modelling world.
Kerr will feature in the high-end fashion advertising campaigns for Prada's and Jil Sander's autumn/winter 2010/11 collections.
It places her on equal footing with fellow Aussie supermodel Abbey Lee Kershaw, who has landed the advertising campaign for Chanel's autumn/winter 2010 collection.
Kerr has had a rapid ascent from lingerie model to celebrity supermodel and is now among the fashion world's elite.
Barely a year ago, Kerr got her first major assignment when she posed for influential photographer Terry Richardson alongside fellow Aussie beauties Kershaw and Catherine McNeil for the 2010 Pirelli calendar.
Then in February, she rejoined McNeil on Prada's runway for the autumn/winter 2010/11 show before appearing for a second time at Balenciaga's Paris Week show, this time modelling in its autumn/winter 2010/11 show.
The latest advertising coups for the luxury brands cement Kerr's new fashion status. She is only the second Australian model to have been shot for Prada, following in the footsteps of Gemma Ward.
"I think she's a very good little businesswoman," said Edwina McCann, Australian Harper's Bazaar editor.
"That in itself is incredible because she was the classic kind of Victoria's Secret girl, more into the lingerie/swimwear category than the high-end runway category."
Kerr, 27, found international celebrity through her relationship with Hollywood hunk Orlando Bloom, her multi-million-dollar contract as a Victoria's Secret angel, and as a regular GQ cover girl.
"I think people like Miranda are very good for fashion overall and I like the fact that models can become brands, because in a lot of ways it's more appropriate I think than celebrities," Ms McCann said.
